I was prompted to write a song using the title "My Dream", as part of 'The Game' - a gathering of San Diego songwriters who get together to share there 'take' on writing song based on a specific phrase.

It was January 2017, and Donald Trump was about to be inaugurated as President. As the country was preparing to observe Martin Luther King Day, I decided to imagine what MLK might be thinking as we watched our country being ripped apart by a soulless madman who had just conned a majority of voters into supporting his hateful agenda.

It rained for 40 days and 37 nights
You just sat there tweeting - picking fights
